What materials can SuZhou HongYi machine?

We machine aluminum grades such as 6061 and 7075, stainless steel 304 and 316, carbon steel, alloy steel, titanium and engineering plastics including POM and PEEK. Material selection depends on strength, corrosion resistance, weight, machining features, finishing requirements and the intended production volume.

How do you decide which material is suitable for my part?

Our review considers the application, operating environment, load, required surface finish, tolerances, weight and cost target. If the drawing specifies a material, we quote and machine to that requirement. If the material is open, we can recommend practical alternatives during the DFM review.

What tolerances can you achieve?

Feasible tolerances depend on the feature, material, part geometry, machining process, fixture design and inspection method. Send your drawing with the critical dimensions and tolerance requirements so we can confirm capability and identify any features that require special attention before quotation.

What are your prototype and production lead times?

Prototype parts are typically completed within 2 weeks after drawing approval and receipt of required materials. Batch production is normally 2–4 weeks, depending on quantity, material availability, machining complexity, surface finishing and inspection requirements. The quotation confirms the expected schedule for each project.

What is your minimum order quantity?

We can support prototype quantities starting from one piece. There is no single universal production MOQ because tooling, fixtures, material purchasing and finishing setup affect the economic order quantity. Send your annual demand or target quantity so we can recommend a practical production plan.

Which drawing formats can you accept?

Preferred formats include STEP, IGES, PDF, DWG, DXF and X_T. Native CAD files can also be reviewed when available. The RFQ form does not accept uploads, so send drawings separately by email to [email protected] and include the part name, quantity, material, finish and target date in the RFQ form.

What surface finishes do you support?

Available finishes include anodizing, polishing, sandblasting, passivation, cleaning and masking of threads or critical bores. Heat treatment and other finishing processes can be coordinated with qualified suppliers when required. Final requirements are confirmed against the drawing and application during quotation.

How does the quotation process work?

Send the drawing and project requirements by email, then submit the RFQ form with your contact and commercial details. We review manufacturability, choose the production route and return DFM feedback or a quotation, normally within 1–3 business days after complete information is received.

Can you sign an NDA?

Yes. Select the NDA requirement in the RFQ form or tell us before sending confidential technical information. Please do not send information you are not authorised to share. If an NDA is required, it should be agreed before confidential drawings are released.
